In a new collective consciousness where being Eco-friendly is not only looked at as being responsible and ethical, but even stylish and hip, it only makes sense that the wedding industry would catch on.
Contemporary weddings have often been thought of as being lavish, extravagant, and even excessive events. This ideal has led modern brides to start seeking out ways to “green” their weddings, from the decorations to the invitations, from the food to the attire. Green, Eco-conscious weddings are becoming a cultural phenomenon, a much-welcomed change, and a hopeful trend.
Coinciding with our own ongoing effort to go green, we at Liza Shtromberg Jewelry are hoping to contribute by offering bridal jewelry, engagement rings, and wedding bands in recycled fine metals and conflict-free diamonds and gemstones.
Even metals can be recycled, which provides an opportunity for not only brides but for anyone who wears jewelry to take one more step towards going green.
So have no fear. Achieving a green wedding is less complicated than you think. Celebrating a very beautiful thing while making your own effort to lessen your own carbon footprint really does make a difference.
And that in itself is also a very beautiful thing.
